AOL joins the VoIP bandwagon

AOL is all set and due to enter the VOIP racket. The service is absolutely free, but the truth of the matter is that its just a copy of the all so popular Skype.

They are also going to introduce an unlimited version for $14.95/mo and you have to make the calls from your PC.

It will be interesting to see if it’s more of a IM live voice chat or a true VoIP. They also plan to go head to head with MySpace in the time to come.

You can read the full story here.
