Stockholm boasts about being a very artistic place and it is definitely what people say about it and what i have gone through in various Stockholm guide books

The city is home to over one a 100 museums and collections of various categories, counting tech, old history, modern and old art, all kinds of music - architecture and nature. For art lovers, to visit stockholm is a delight of sorts.

Among the top museums in the city is the ever famous - Skansen, it is an open air museum and zoological park.

The Museum of Modern Art and the Swedish National Museum of Fine Art, is also worth a mention and it stores more than 45,000 pieces of art. This surely makes it Sweden’s largest collection and you won’t get to see such great stuff anywhere else in the country.

This place is not only for the art lovers, because even the children will take pleasure in different attractions such as the toy museum, Skansen’s aquarium and various maritime museums.
