Google enters UK mobile market

June 28, 2006 on 2:18 pm | In Mobile Buzz |

According to the numbers released there are twice as many Mobile phone users in the world as there are PCs. Mobile is growing at a much faster pace than PCs, and Google is certainly keeping an eye on it.

Google have decided to tap this market in the UK and launched their email and news aggregation services for mobile users. The mobile players will not be unhappy with this as more and more customers will opt for WAP and GPRS on their phones to access these services by google. So as long as the telecom companies are being paid for data transfers no one should have any objection.

All in all this is great progress and certainly in the right direction.
